Chen Linong and Lola Amour unite voices in heartfelt ballad “With You”
Warner Music has unveiled “With You”, a powerful cross-border collaboration between acclaimed Mandopop artist Chen Linong and Filipino band Lola Amour. The single, produced by South Korea’s multi-platinum hitmaker Hyuk Shin, blends three of Asia’s strongest music scenes in one heartfelt ballad about love, longing, and memory.
Chen Linong’s crystal-clear vocals begin as a tender whisper and build into an emotional outpouring, seamlessly intertwining with the rich tones of Lola Amour’s frontman, Pio Dumayas. Their contrasting voices add texture and emotional weight, capturing the ache of an unwritten letter to a former lover.
The track’s minimalist acoustic arrangement features delicate guitar melodies and subtle rain samples, creating an intimate soundscape without heavy drums. This stripped-down approach highlights the raw vulnerability of both vocalists.
For Lola Amour, whose breakout hit “Raining in Manila” dominated charts in 2023 and won major awards at the Awit Awards, the collaboration reinforces their place as one of the Philippines’ most dynamic acts. The band has since gained recognition on international stages, even sharing the spotlight with Coldplay during their Manila concert stop.
Hyuk Shin, known for his work with Justin Bieber, EXO, NCT, and Dean, delivers his signature touch, enhancing the track with global polish while keeping its emotional depth intact.
For Chen Linong, one of China’s most streamed young stars, “With You” adds to his growing international presence. With a fanbase across Greater China and rising global recognition, this release shows his expanding reach as an artist with a cross-market vision.
“With You” is now streaming on all major platforms worldwide.
