Charlie Puth Beat Yourself Up leads into Whatever’s Clever! and a 2026 world tour
Charlie Puth has a new single out now. “Beat Yourself Up” signals his next chapter, built around honesty, self talk, and late night replay moments that many listeners know too well.

Puth wrote the track with a friend in mind. He wanted a direct message without a hard conversation. The lyrics tell a familiar story. Mistakes happen. Growth follows. Self punishment does not help. The message turns personal fast, since Puth says the song soon felt like a note to himself and to anyone who keeps score the harsh way.
The song arrives ahead of his upcoming album, Whatever’s Clever!, due March 27 via Atlantic Records. Puth co produced “Beat Yourself Up” with BLOODPOP, and the sound leans into a more stripped, personal mood. An official music video directed by Hunter Moreno is also on the way.
Live plans look big for 2026. Puth announced the Whatever’s Clever! World Tour with arena dates across North America, then Europe and the United Kingdom. The North American run spans 34 dates, with tickets on sale now. The run starts April 22 at Viejas Arena in San Diego and brings Puth with his A+ band to major rooms like Kia Forum in Los Angeles on April 29 and Madison Square Garden in New York on May 29. Canada also joins the route with stops in Vancouver on May 5 and Hamilton on May 20.
Summer brings a Europe and U.K. swing, including Paris on July 13, London on July 15, and Dublin on July 19. Several festival sets also appear on the calendar, including Tinderbox in Denmark and Mad Cool Festival in Spain.
A major spotlight arrives on February 8. Puth is confirmed to perform at Super Bowl LX in San Francisco, placing new music in front of a massive global audience.
