CHAGEE Philippines appoints industry veterans Christopher Tiong as Country General Manager and Oliver Rabatan as Deputy General Manager

CHAGEE Philippines today announces the appointment of Christopher “Sonny” Tiong as Country General Manager and Oliver “Ollie” Rabatan as Deputy General Manager. The announcement of CHAGEE’s Philippine leadership team comes in celebration of its 8th global anniversary this November.
Having simultaneously led iconic international brands such as Krispy Kreme and Jamba Juice, alongside well-loved local favorite Pancake House as Chief Operating Officer, Sonny is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in operations, sales, and brand management across the food and beverage industry. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional customer service.
As General Manager of CHAGEE Philippines, Sonny plays a key role in steering the brand’s nationwide expansion and day-to-day operations. His leadership focuses on strengthening store performance, ensuring operational discipline, and creating customer experiences that uphold CHAGEE’s premium standards.
Ollie brings with him close to two decades of experience from McDonald’s, where he was Chief Marketing Officer. A strategic business leader and award-winning marketer, he led some of the brand’s most notable and high impact campaigns, including “McSavers Mix & Match”, “Bigger Chicken McDo”, theMcDonald’s App’srapid adoption, “Unbranded Menu”, “McClassroom”, and “Ride-Thru”. A seasoned business and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience, he is known for his strategic vision and deep understanding of local consumers. Ollie has built a career by transforming insights into impactful brand experiences that inspire loyalty and drive performance.
As Deputy General Manager of CHAGEE Philippines, Ollie leads the brand’s expansion and innovation efforts, guiding it toward its next phase of growth. With his extensive experience in brand management and his passion for elevating consumer experiences, Ollie plays a pivotal role in advancing CHAGEE’s mission to redefine the high-quality milk tea category in the Philippines.
