Cebu Pacific A330neo Bohol Flights Strengthen Local Travel
Cebu Pacific started a new chapter in local travel with the launch of its A330neo flights to Bohol Panglao International Airport. The airline now flies the 459 seater aircraft daily between Manila and Bohol. This gives more travelers a simple and steady way to reach one of the country’s most visited island destinations.

The arrival of the A330neo in Bohol drew attention from local leaders and aviation officials. The maiden flight received a water canon salute at the airport. The gesture marked a strong start for Cebu Pacific as it expands service for both residents and tourists.
Bohol Governor Erico Aris Aumentado joined executives and representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, Cebu Pacific, Aboitiz Airports, the Bohol Provincial Tourism Office, and the Bureau of Fire Protection. Their presence showed how the new service supports tourism growth. It also reflects how improved connectivity supports local businesses and new income opportunities for the province.
Governor Aumentado said the new aircraft signals progress for Bohol Panglao International Airport. He highlighted how better access supports economic activity and stronger tourism. Cebu Pacific Vice President for Corporate Affairs Maria Cecilia Natividad added that the airline aims to give every Juan more chances to travel across the country through larger aircraft and more seats per route.
Cebu Pacific now operates thirteen A330neo aircraft. This makes the airline the largest operator of this aircraft type in the Asia Pacific region. The A330neo also serves key routes such as Cebu, Davao, General Santos, and Puerto Princesa. It also flies to several international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The A330neo offers larger capacity and better fuel efficiency. Airbus NEO aircraft burn up to 25 percent less fuel per flight and produce less noise. This supports Cebu Pacific’s goal to offer better comfort for travelers while keeping operations efficient and sustainable.
For travelers heading to Bohol, the new daily A330neo flights make each trip simpler and more comfortable. Cebu Pacific’s move strengthens local tourism and gives you more flight options for your next island visit.
