Cavetown Running With Scissors Tour includes Manila stop and new single ‘Tarmac’
Cavetown is back with new music and a major world tour. The singer, songwriter, and producer Robin Skinner will release his next album, Running With Scissors, on January 16, 2026. Alongside the announcement, he has unveiled a new single, Tarmac, co-written with Orla Gartland.

Tarmac follows previous singles Rainbow Gal and Baby Spoon. It keeps Cavetown’s indie-pop roots but adds grunge textures, layered harmonies, and unpredictable soundscapes. The track explores the pain and confusion of love that feels both fleeting and permanent, a theme that runs throughout the upcoming record.
Before this, Cavetown joined Pierce The Veil on their European arena tour. Their collaboration a kind thing to do from his 2022 album worm food was performed live at OVO Arena Wembley, with Vic Fuentes joining him on stage.
Cavetown’s Running With Scissors Tour will kick off in February 2026 with stops in Singapore and Manila. He will perform on February 18 at New Frontier Theatre, followed by a string of shows across Europe through April.
The album dives into identity, vulnerability, and self-discovery. Cavetown reflects on growth and the struggles of adulthood while embracing the realities of anxiety, self-doubt, and being a trans artist.
Running With Scissors will be available for pre-order in digital and limited vinyl editions, including exclusive black-and-blue cornetto and splatter versions.
