Cathay has appointed new regional, area, and country leaders to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia and Oceania. The restructuring aims to improve collaboration, efficiency, and service delivery across travel, lifestyle, cargo, and operations.

Frosti Lau steps in as Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia & Oceania after leading the Southwest Pacific. He brings 25 years of global leadership experience, including pioneering Cathay’s Cargo Digital and Customer Experience teams.

Jonathan Ng continues as Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle, while Ashish Kapur takes charge of Cargo for the expanded region. Both leaders bring extensive international expertise in customer experience and cargo strategy.

Lynn See leads People for the region with a focus on inclusive workplace culture and talent development. Steve Cheung moves from Northeast Asia to Finance leadership for Southeast Asia & Oceania. Adam Nelson, a long-time Cathay engineer, now oversees Engineering for the region, and Dominic Vallado continues to head Airports.

For market-specific leadership, Kelly Tsang becomes Area Head for Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, while Nicolas Masse takes on Singapore and Malaysia. Tony Sham and Vishnu Rajendran remain as Country Heads of Indonesia and the Philippines.

These appointments align with Cathay Group’s strong first-half performance in 2025, reporting HK$3.7 billion in profit and securing 14 new Boeing 777-9 aircraft to expand its fleet.
