“Regretting You” Featurette Highlights Heartfelt Storytelling
The cast of the highly anticipated film “Regretting You” is giving audiences a closer look at the emotional journey behind the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel. Paramount Pictures has released a new featurette where the stars talk about why the story feels fresh, heartfelt, and funny all at once.

McKenna Grace, who plays Clara Grant, said, “It hits all the right places, like, it’s dramatic, but it is so funny.” Her character, Clara, is at the center of the story along with her mother Morgan, played by Allison Williams. Together, they navigate grief, betrayal, and the fragile ties that hold families together.
“Regretting You” follows Morgan and Clara after a life-altering accident uncovers a painful betrayal. The film explores how both characters deal with hidden truths, find strength in resilience, and rediscover love in different forms. Alongside Grace and Williams, the cast includes Dave Franco, Mason Thames, Sam Morelos, Scott Eastwood, Willa Fitzgerald, and Clancy Brown.
The film is directed by Josh Boone, known for “The Fault in Our Stars,” which gives fans a hint of the emotional depth and balance of humor they can expect. With Hoover’s storytelling and Boone’s direction, the adaptation promises to bring the book’s themes of family, healing, and forgiveness to the screen with honesty and impact.
“Regretting You” is set to hit Philippine cinemas on October 22, offering audiences a story of growth, resilience, and connection that resonates across generations.
