“Bossjob Makes It Clear: You don’t deserve to be ghosted in your job application.”

In today’s competitive job market, many Filipino jobseekers share a common frustration: applying—or even interviewing—for a role, only to be left hanging without feedback. Bossjob, the modern AI-powered career platform, is challenging this cycle of “job-application ghosting” by championing transparency and communication at every stage of the hiring process.

During its recent Media Roundtable, Bossjob introduced its mission to make job-hunting faster, more transparent, and more human. Through its real-time employer notifications, direct chat-based interface, dedicated human assistance, automated status updates, and AI-driven matching, Bossjob ensures applicants receive real-time information and meaningful engagement with employers—reducing uncertainty and helping them stay motivated throughout their career journey.

“Every jobseeker deserves to be acknowledged,” shared Nonito Antonio Cuizon, Bossjob Branding and PR Manager, during the discussion. “Ghosting hurts confidence and discourages talents who are eager to contribute. Our platform was built to eliminate that silence—to make job seeking feel like a real conversation again. Through constant feedback gathering, employer coordination, and continuous interaction with both sides, Bossjob will never leave anybody behind. We will ensure that the moment you create your AI-powered CV (AICV) with us, we will be right there with you every step of the way.”

Shining a Light on the Ghosting Phenomenon

Internal data from Bossjob showed that out of 903 jobseekers who participated in their survey, around 44%, over 400 interviewees, shared that they have experienced being ghosted by potential employers. This study revealed how widespread ghosting remains among Filipino professionals, with many citing the lack of employer communication as a top pain point that impacts both morale and career confidence.

By providing tools that enable direct messaging and real-time feedback, Bossjob hopes to normalize open dialogue between employers and jobseekers—making recruitment more respectful and efficient for both sides.

From Advocacy to Action: The Ghosting Stunt

To dramatize its message, Bossjob rolled out a playful yet thought-provoking “Ghosting Stunt”—a roaming “ghost” spotted around major central business districts. The campaign, though humorous, reminds both jobseekers and companies of the serious message that everyone deserves a response.

Beyond the visuals, the stunt underlined Bossjob’s core promise: empowering jobseekers to take charge of their careers while helping employers find the right talents faster through smart, conversational technology.

Empowering the Next Generation of Professionals

As this generation’s workers redefine what they expect from employers—speed, authenticity, and connection—Bossjob continues to serve as a bridge between opportunity and empowerment. Through its ongoing initiatives and innovations, the platform reaffirms its mission to make job seeking not only easier but also more human. To learn more, visit Bossjob.ph or download the Bossjob App on mobile.
