Beko, Europe’s leading home appliance brand, celebrated hope, faith, and music as co-presenter of the 10th Himig ng Kabataan: Alay Kay Don Bosco Choral Competition. The event was held on August 30, 2025, at St. John Bosco Parish in Makati City, marking both the competition’s tenth year and the parish’s 47th anniversary with the theme Pilgrims of Hope.
Eight church-based choirs competed, showcasing vocal excellence and community spirit. The Malabon Concert Singers won as Grand Champion with a PHP 100,000 prize. Coro Jesu took first runner-up with PHP 50,000, while The Vennekreds earned second runner-up with PHP 30,000. The Malabon Concert Singers also received Best Song Rendition. San Andres Chamber Singers won the People’s Choice Award.
All cash prizes were provided by Beko, highlighting the brand’s commitment to Filipino youth and culture. Dyeun Zapanta, Marketing Head of Beko Philippines, shared that the event reflects Beko’s mission of supporting communities and fostering connections through excellence in faith, music, and practical home solutions.
Through initiatives like Himig ng Kabataan, Beko continues to go beyond sustainable living, creating a positive impact in Filipino society.
