The I Want To Share Foundation (IWTS) returned with its Charity Gala, An Evening for Brave Warriors, held at Shangri-La The Fort. The event raised ₱88 million, the highest in its history, uniting fashion, art, and advocacy to support children battling cancer.
Over 550 guests attended, including philanthropists, celebrities, and changemakers. The highlight was young cancer survivors walking the runway in creations by Francis Libiran, Ivar Aseron, Dennis Lustico, and Michael Leyva. Their presence turned the runway into a symbol of courage and hope.
Founder Sheila Romero, herself a cancer survivor, shared that the gala was not only about fundraising but about showing children they are seen and loved. Celebrities like Catriona Gray, Kaila Estrada, and Kirk Bondad also walked alongside the young survivors, strengthening the night’s message of solidarity.
The art auction featured works by Ramon Orlina, Daniel De La Cruz, Jinggoy Buensuceso, Manny Garibay, Elmer Borlongan, Jigger Cruz, and Yeo Kaa. Each piece was donated as a gesture of healing and hope.
Proceeds will fund Phase 2 of the country’s first Charity Bone Marrow Transplant Wing at PGH, provide 50 infusion pumps for PGH’s Cancer Institute, and sustain IWTS’s Survivorship Program, which offers CT scans, hearing aids, financial aid, and reintegration support for survivors.
The night ended with a moving performance from Gary Valenciano, followed by survivors lighting candles as symbols of life and resilience. Behind the scenes, brands like Belo Medical Group, Rockwell, and Vision Express contributed support to make the evening possible.
With Robby Carmona directing the event, the gala reinforced IWTS’s mission: no Filipino child should be left behind in the fight against cancer.
