Alipay+ Voyager links with Grab for seamless Southeast Asian rides
Travel in Southeast Asia is getting simpler. Alipay+, the global wallet gateway of Ant International, and Grab, the region’s leading superapp, announced a new integration that lets international travelers book Grab rides directly within their home e-wallets through Alipay+ Voyager.
Launched in mid-2025, Alipay+ Voyager acts as an AI-powered travel assistant. It is already available on Alipay (Chinese mainland), AlipayHK (Hong Kong SAR), and GCash (Philippines), with more partners set to join soon. The new feature allows users from these platforms to book Grab rides across eight countries where Grab operates, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
The collaboration removes the need for travelers to download the Grab app separately, reducing friction in booking transportation. Instead, users can rely on a familiar e-wallet ecosystem for payments and mobility.
Scarlett Xing, General Manager of Alipay+ Travel Solutions at Ant International, said, “With Southeast Asia growing in popularity as a travel destination, making Grab’s services directly available within Alipay+ partner apps offers users the most comprehensive and trusted local transportation across the region.”
Grab’s Head of Mobility, Samir Kumar, added, “We’re thrilled to strengthen our partnership with Alipay+ Voyager to deliver safe and reliable ride-hailing services for more travellers visiting Southeast Asia. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to enhancing the travel experience and providing greater convenience for millions of users.”
Alipay+ connects 36 leading payment partner apps with over 1.7 billion user accounts and 100 million merchants in 70 markets. By expanding its digital services, such as in-app tax refunds, rewards, and travel solutions like Voyager, Alipay+ strengthens its reach among mobile-first global travelers.

For Grab, this deepened partnership supports its goal of making everyday services accessible for both locals and visitors, reinforcing its role as a trusted superapp in the region.
