AirAsia Now Flies from Manila to Istanbul through its Fly-Thru service via Kuala Lumpur. The route opens on November 14, 2025, with four flights every week.
This new connection allows Filipinos and ASEAN travelers to explore Istanbul at affordable fares. The city offers world-famous attractions such as the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the ancient walls of Constantinople.
AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Suresh Bangah said the airline is focused on linking ASEAN with the world. He explained that the Manila to Istanbul route makes global travel easier for Filipinos while also inviting more visitors to the Philippines.
Along with this launch, AirAsia introduced the Rain or Shine LFG Sale. One-way base fares start at PHP 207 to Cebu, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, Tagbilaran, Seoul, Osaka, Hong Kong, and Kota Kinabalu. The sale runs until August 31, 2025. Travel is valid from August 18, 2025 until June 30, 2026 with 392,430 seats included.
