AirAsia Undas flight frequency increase helps Filipinos travel home with ease
AirAsia Philippines is expanding its flight operations this October to meet the surge of travelers heading home for Undas.

The airline has increased its flight frequencies across key domestic routes from Manila in preparation for the All Saints’ Day long weekend.
Flights to Caticlan now operate 54 times weekly from 46. Cebu flights increased to 56 from 47. Iloilo flights rose to 32 from 28. Tacloban now has 26 weekly flights from 24. Tagbilaran grew from 21 to 24. Puerto Princesa expanded to 21 from 20. Kalibo rose to 19 from 17. Cagayan de Oro increased to 16 from 14 weekly flights.
AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Capt. Suresh Bangah said the upgrades ensure smoother and more convenient travel for passengers. “We are fully prepared to serve our kababayans who will be paying respect to their departed loved ones or spending quality time with family,” he said.
Last year, the airline recorded an 83% load factor during the Undas season and expects even higher demand this year.
To help travelers plan their trips, AirAsia shared practical reminders:
• Book early to get better fares as flights fill up fast.
• Check baggage weight before leaving for the airport.
• Use the AirAsia MOVE app for check-in and baggage options.
• Arrive early to avoid delays.
With the increased capacity, AirAsia aims to make travel home this Undas season more accessible, efficient, and stress-free for every Filipino.
