AirAsia Dream It Journey Inspires Asean Talent Through Shared Passion
AirAsia continues to shape how young creators explore passion through its Dream It Journey. The program brings Asean talent closer to opportunities that spark creativity, community and purpose. Dream It: Vol. 2 with SEGA placed play at the center of connection, learning and inspiration.

Dreamers opened their journey in Tokyo. The group visited creative hubs that showed how gaming influences design, culture and storytelling. Each stop pushed them to think about how passion can turn into work that adds value to real communities.
One highlight was the Game Console Mod Workshop led by PLUS Y. The group preserves Japan’s handheld console culture. Emmi, Toshi and Shio Sensei walked Dreamers through the full process of rebuilding a classic handheld console. Dreamers learned its design, history and the personal stories behind each device. Every participant completed a customised unit that reflected AirAsia’s visual identity. The session gave them hands-on skills and a deeper view of Japan’s modding community.
The journey reached its peak at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Dreamers explored new releases, met developers and felt the scale of the global gaming world. AirAsia’s partnership with SEGA opened rare behind the scenes access. Dreamers met Takaya Segawa, along with the team behind Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. They viewed an AirAsia themed machine decal featured inside the game. The experience showed how brands, creators and communities build new pathways through shared passion.
AirAsia sees Dream It as part of its purpose to connect People, Places and Passion across Asean. The initiative gathers rising creators, industry leaders and culture drivers in one space. Each journey builds confidence by offering real exposure to global ideas and real creative processes.
The program continues to grow. AirAsia will launch Dream It Vol. 3 soon. The brand plans more experiences that highlight Asean talent and inspire more creators to pursue their goals.
