Soupstar Music New Era Partnership Highlights OPM Milestone

Soupstar Music closed its 25th year with a strong statement. The independent music company partnered with global lifestyle brand New Era for a limited-edition anniversary cap. The launch happened on November 13, 2025 at Hideout Resto and Bar in Quezon City. The event gathered artists, long-time fans, and industry partners who helped shape the label’s journey.

The cap release marked a fresh step for Soupstar Music. The design connects music, street style, and everyday Filipino culture. It reflects the label’s belief in staying present, adapting to new trends, and holding on to values that built its identity.

Moonstar88 and HEY JUNE! performed during the launch. Their sets created a bridge between the label’s beginnings and its next chapter. Moonstar88 was the first band the label signed. HEY JUNE! represents the company’s current wave of young talent. Soupstar CEO Darwin Hernandez said the collaboration felt natural. He shared how caps from New Era have long been part of his personal style. He added that both brands have supported each other through the years.

Soupstar Music continues its anniversary activities with two major November events. Beyond Beats happened on November 5 at Eton Centris in Quezon City. Eton City Thanksgiving will take place on November 29 in Laguna. Moonstar88 headlines both shows. The band also celebrates the 25th year of its hit Torete and plans to release new music in 2026.

For 25 years, Soupstar Music has worked with artists who helped shape modern OPM. Its roster includes 6cyclemind, Gracenote, Sandwich, Imago, and many more. The label remains active in concerts, tours, and collaborations. Hernandez said the goal stays simple. Support artists. Release songs. Stay present across platforms and partnerships.

The company moves into its next chapter with clear purpose. Soupstar Music plans to grow its community, keep its artists active, and continue shaping Filipino music for years ahead.
