The Alibi Prime Video Philippines – A story of love, power, and dangerous secrets

Prime Video is set to captivate audiences with The Alibi, a romantic thriller led by Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. Premiering November 7, the Dreamscape Entertainment production unravels a gripping story of love, lies, and survival.

The series follows Vincent Cabrera, played by Paulo Avelino, the heir to a powerful media empire accused of murdering his rival, Walter Cunanan, portrayed by Sam Milby. To clear his name, Vincent turns to Stella Morales, played by Kim Chiu, a dancer with a painful past, and hires her to act as his alibi. What begins as a calculated move soon evolves into a dangerous emotional affair that blurs the lines between truth and deception.

As their relationship deepens, both are caught in a storm of secrets that threaten their lives and families. The Cabreras’ polished public image hides decades of corruption, while Stella’s family becomes entangled in a world built on influence and betrayal.

The Alibi brings together a powerhouse ensemble featuring John Arcilla, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sofia Andres, Irma Adlawan, Rafael Rosell, Alma Moreno, Romnick Sarmenta, and Lotlot Bustamante. Directed by Onat Diaz, Jojo Saguin, and FM Reyes, the series explores how ambition and fear twist morality and love.

“The Alibi is about the lies we tell ourselves to survive,” said Creative Manager Danica Domingo. “It’s a mystery that makes viewers question every motive and every truth.”

Streaming in over 240 countries, The Alibi adds to Prime Video’s growing Filipino lineup, alongside Linlang, Drag Den, and LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines. Viewers can stream or download episodes for offline viewing for only ₱149 a month.
