HONOR 600S Launches in the Philippines with an 8,100Mah Battery and AI Creation Tools

Starting at ₱18,999, HONOR’s latest smartphone pairs a large battery with durability features and tools that turn photos into videos.

HONOR Philippines officially launched the HONOR 600S on October 1, 2026, introducing a smartphone that puts battery capacity, everyday durability, and AI content creation at the center of its offering.

The new device starts at ₱18,999 for the online-exclusive 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs ₱19,999. Launch offers include wearable accessories and a chance to win ₱1 million worth of shopping spree rewards, subject to the promotion’s mechanics.

For readers who use their phones throughout the day for work, entertainment, and creating content, the HONOR 600S brings these needs together in one device.

A Bigger Battery for Busy Days

One of the phone’s main features is its 8,100mAh battery, paired with 45W HONOR SuperCharge. The combination is designed to support extended use and help users recharge when needed. Actual battery life and charging speeds depend on usage and operating conditions.

HONOR also says its battery testing supports a lifespan of up to six years. This is a manufacturer testing claim, rather than a guarantee that every user will experience the same battery performance over that period.

At the launch, HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng said the device was developed around how people use smartphones for work, content, and entertainment, with battery life and durability among the company’s priorities.

Protection for Everyday Handling

The HONOR 600S uses HONOR’s Cushioning and Fall Protection Architecture and carries SGS Premium Performance Certification for Drop and Crush Resistance.

According to HONOR, the device earned a five-star all-round drop resistance rating and underwent drop testing from heights of up to 2.5 meters under controlled conditions. It also carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance. These protections have limits: resistance can decrease with wear, and drops can still damage the phone.

A Wet-hand Touch Enhancement feature is designed to help maintain screen responsiveness when the display is wet.

Together, these features address everyday handling concerns for people who frequently use their phones while commuting, working outdoors, or moving between activities.

AI Tools for Turning Photos into Videos

The HONOR 600S includes a dedicated AI Button for accessing supported applications and AI tools.

Its HONOR AI Image to Video 2.0 feature lets users transform static images into video content, offering another way to work with existing photos. For creators and everyday users, the feature provides a starting point for making visual content directly on the phone.

The device also has a 50MP main camera for photography.

Display, Storage, and Software

According to HONOR’s launch announcement, the HONOR 600S runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 Mobile Platform and features MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

The 8GB + 256GB variant supports up to 16GB of additional RAM expansion through HONOR RAM Turbo Technology. That expansion supplements the phone’s physical RAM; it does not mean the device has 24GB of physical memory.

Other announced features include a 6.87-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and dual speakers with HONOR’s advertised 400% volume mode.

Buyers can choose from Velvet Black, Desert Gold, and Misty Purple.

Philippine Prices and Preorder Offers

HONOR announced the following launch packages:

The online-exclusive variant is offered through HONOR’s official stores on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. HONOR also lists authorized stores nationwide and Globe Telecom stores among its Philippine launch channels.

Customers who preorder or purchase the device from October 1 to 9, 2026 can get a chance to win ₱1 million worth of shopping spree rewards, subject to the official promo mechanics. Buyers should check the applicable eligibility and registration requirements before joining.

What Buyers Should Remember

The HONOR 600S focuses on three practical priorities: a large battery, protection against everyday exposure, and accessible AI creation tools.

For buyers considering the device, the choice between variants comes down to their storage and memory needs, preferred shopping channel, and the launch package available to them.
