Concepcion Industrial Corporation (CIC) reaffirmed its commitment to championing Filipino innovation and strengthening local industries during its participation at the Tatak Pinoy: Proudly Filipino Expo 2026 held from May 25 to 27 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

The Philippine company used the expo to showcase how locally designed products and investments in domestic manufacturing can contribute to economic growth, employment, and nation-building.

Building Solutions Designed for Filipinos

Guided by the principle of “Gawang Pilipino, Para sa Pilipino,” CIC develops products that address the unique needs of Filipino households and communities.

With a corporate legacy spanning more than six decades, the company combines local insights with international manufacturing standards to deliver products that meet global benchmarks for quality and reliability.

CIC Chairman and President Raul Joseph A. Concepcion said the company supports the Tatak Pinoy strategy because it provides a meaningful platform for advancing local industries.

“As a company committed to building better lives for Filipinos, we support the Tatak Pinoy strategy—a meaningful platform to advance local industries,” Concepcion said. “Being a proudly Filipino company, we have always trusted in the potential, creativity, and resilience of our people.”

Investing in Local Manufacturing

A major part of CIC’s commitment to local industry is its Manufacturing Plant and Research and Development Center in Cabuyao, Laguna.

Through its investments in domestic manufacturing capabilities, the company supports local employment and creates opportunities for Filipino workers, suppliers, and surrounding communities.

The company said strengthening local production not only enhances its ability to serve Filipino consumers but also contributes to building a more resilient industrial ecosystem.

Products Designed Around Filipino Needs

During the expo, CIC showcased Condura appliances specifically engineered for the Philippine climate and local lifestyles.

Among the featured products were the Condura Negosyo Ref Inverter, designed to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and the Carrier Optima .5HP Compact Inverter, which aims to provide affordable cooling solutions for Filipino households.

Concepcion Durables, Inc. President Harold Pernikar said the company remains focused on developing products that address real needs while contributing to the growth of local industries.

“Through our products and pioneering efforts, we aim to create solutions thoughtfully designed for Filipino homes, while continuously supporting local industries and helping build a better future for the country,” Pernikar said.

Strengthening Filipino Enterprises

Beyond product development, CIC has also strengthened supply chain partnerships with local MSMEs, allowing smaller enterprises to grow alongside larger industries.

The company said this collaborative approach demonstrates how Filipino businesses are increasingly prepared to compete and thrive globally while supporting inclusive economic development at home.

A Shared Commitment to Nation-Building

CIC’s participation in Tatak Pinoy Expo 2026 reflects its broader role in the country’s industrial development journey.

As the company continues to evolve alongside Filipino consumers, it remains anchored on its commitment to quality, reliability, purposeful innovation, and building a sustainable future for generations to come.

At a time when the Philippines is placing greater emphasis on strengthening domestic industries and supporting local manufacturing, CIC’s message is clear: Filipino ingenuity, when nurtured and invested in, has the power to create solutions that improve lives and contribute to long-term national progress.
