New immersive exhibition invites Filipino children to imagine and build better futures through play.

The Mind Museum and NutriAsia have unveiled Playtales: Reimagining Tomorrows, a new immersive exhibition that encourages children and families to explore how creativity, community, and sustainability can help shape a better future.

Now open at The Mind Museum in Bonifacio Global City, the interactive experience transforms learning into hands-on play while highlighting Filipino values, innovation, and environmental awareness.

The exhibition builds on the long-standing partnership between The Mind Museum and NutriAsia, which has spanned 14 years and focused on science education, Filipino culture, and meaningful learning experiences.

At the heart of Playtales is a simple but powerful message: the future is not predetermined. Instead, it is something people can create together through imagination, cooperation, and shared responsibility.

Designed primarily for children aged 5 to 10 years old, the exhibition features a series of immersive environments inspired by everyday Filipino life. These include gardening, cooking, community markets, music, storytelling, and environmental stewardship.

One of the main attractions is the Community Garden and Kitchen, inspired by the traditional bahay kubo. Children can harvest vegetables, plant crops, prepare food, and even participate in a mock marketplace experience that teaches the value of sharing and community collaboration.

Another featured area, Eco-Essentials, reimagines the familiar Filipino sari-sari store through a sustainability-focused lens. Built using recycled materials and bamboo elements, the zone introduces young visitors to responsible consumption through playful interactions and familiar household products.

The exhibition also incorporates Mind S-Cool, The Mind Museum’s educational learning platform, featuring oversized storybooks, reading spaces, biodiversity-inspired installations, and interactive activities designed to spark imagination and curiosity.

Visitors can also explore the Music Tower, a bamboo-inspired installation showcasing traditional musical instruments from different regions of the Philippines, and the Fishing Area, which highlights the relationship between people, water, and the environment.

According to Maria Isabel Garcia, Managing Director and Curator of The Mind Museum, the exhibition demonstrates how imagination can influence the way children think about the future.

“Playtales proves the power of imagination in shaping how people understand and create their shared futures,” Garcia said.

The project also reflects NutriAsia’s continued support for educational initiatives that promote Filipino culture, food, and community values.

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, Playtales offers families a unique opportunity to learn together through interactive storytelling, creative exploration, and purposeful play.
