The Philippine Crafts Kings, JuggiesPh brought the local craft beer on the Spotlight

In the country, Filipinos are among the greatest beer drinkers. They not only drink a whole lot of the golden brew, but they are also beer connoisseurs and adventure-seekers when it comes to what their beer mugs fill up with.

A sub-universe of very impressive, locally brewed craft beer is beneath the world of flowing industrial beer. In bars, parties, hotels, and watering holes, small, typically independent craft breweries strive both for variety and consistency, tickling the fancy of young-and-slightly-older discerning drinkers. In 2013, Philippine Craft Kings (PCK) began to introduce craft beers into the mainstream, entering the Philippine beer scene with only one brand, then rising to over 20 partner breweries currently serving more than 100 beer variants.

The works are light and sweet beers, lager, pilsner, pale ale, dark beer, stout, wheat beers, and lagers, from 4.8 percent to 10.5 percent alcohol content, from non-alcoholic beverages like ginger ale, butterbeer and soon, club soda, PCK, and JuggiesPH.

Now that most bars are closed and social interaction is minimal, Philippine Craft Kings still allows the beers to enjoy its market as before in Juggies—insulated, tap-equipped containers with a freshness valve and comes with a key to unlock the easy-pour feature. Juggies come in 2-liter and 5-liter options and can hold the beverages for up to three days ice cold and fresh.

PCK/JuggiesPH CEO Jazel Justiniani Paraiso said that by developing party packages and out of town packages made up of beer choices and their best pica pairs, they have responded to the limitations and challenges imposed by current protocols. People can put their orders online and along with the party packages, we deliver the Juggies. That way, in the privacy and protection of the house, families and small groups will enjoy drinking beer and munching on tapas, sweets, cheeses, and other food pairings.

In a Juggy, beers, and beverages are freshly brewed and kegged on the same day they are ordered. They get cold and it’s easy to use the Juggies, which are reusable and recyclable, Paraiso added.

PCK/JuggiesPH meets and works together with the brewers and listens to the unique stories behind the beers. “Filipino beer brewers are amazing because they are adventurous, creative and true masters of their craft. Every time there’s a new beer we let our customers know so they get the chance to taste new and limited releases. We bring the story of the beers and the brewers out to the market. And that’s how we help support the local craft beer industry,” Paraiso said.

PCK/JuggiesPH meets with the brewers and works with them to listen to the unique stories behind the beers. Filipino beer brewers are awesome because they are daring, imaginative and real masters of their craft. We let our clients know every time there’s a new beer, so they get the chance to sample new and limited releases. We put to market the story of the beers and the brewers. And this is how we are helping to promote the local craft beer industry,’ said Paraiso.

A Juggies Filling Station at Brick and Mortar in BGC and one in Quezon City were opened by PCK/JuggiesPH in October so that beer drinkers can have their fill and continue to enjoy good times at home.

Not only in the Philippines, but in Southeast Asia, the craft beer industry is -. It is currently estimated at 134 million dollars and is expected to rise to 400 million dollars by the end of 2021.
