The culmination of Taiwan Excellence’s third-year search for the Philippines’ finest singers and songwriters took center stage on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Ayala Malls Market! Market! in Taguig. Co-presented by Aromase, Derma Angel, and Johnson Fitness & Wellness, the Live Grand Finals Event showcased the extraordinary talent of Filipino artists who had battled their way to the top.
The vibrant evening began with an electrifying performance of the Your Song of Excellence 2023 jingle by celebrity judges Yeng Constantino, Arthur Nery, Ice Seguerra, and Paulo Zarate. The competition was fierce as the Top 3 Grand Finalists from both the Singer and Songwriter Categories poured their hearts out on the big stage.
In the Singer Category, Julius Cawaling emerged as the Grand Champion, delivering two spine-tingling performances that outshone 1st Runner Louise Alivio and 2nd Runner Up Alyssa Erasquin in a closely contested race.
The Songwriter Category witnessed an equally intense battle, with Lyndon Nagar claiming the Grand Champion title. His fully realized Grand Finals song resonated with the audience, triumphing over 1st Runner Up Juls Burce and 2nd Runner Up Popa Elorde.
Distinguished guests, including Mr. Dustin Yang, Minister of Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines, and other VIPs from Taiwan Trade Center Manila, added prestige to the event by presenting awards to the winners.
The Grand Champions were awarded a P50,000 cash prize and P50,000 worth of products each, while the 1st Runners Up received a P30,000 cash prize each. The 2nd Runners Up were not left behind, securing P20,000 cash each and P50,000 worth of products each.
