Skilled PWDs to compete in int’l competition

The three PWDs, who are also beneficiaries of DSWD and staunch advocates of PWDs’ rights and privileges, will leave for Bordeaux, France where they will compete in the 2016 International Abilympics on March 22 to 27.

The International Abilympics is a professional skills competition for people with disabilities and special needs. The event is organized by Abilympics France.

Janet will participate in Cake Decorating competition while Rosalinda will vie for the Waste Re-Use Category. Julius, on the other hand, will be competing in the Desktop Publishing Skills Category.

Aside from the actual skills competition, the three advocates will also have the opportunity to attend technical sessions as well as exposure trips organized by the Abilympics.
