Sining Labinsiyam, of DLS-CSB’s Theater Arts Program, is staging Orgullo Compound, a Nanotechnology Defense by Dr. Layeta Bucoy.

What will stop the corrosion happening from within?

Sining LABinsiyam (SiLAB) is a production house under the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Theater Arts Program started in May 2021 by student-artists from the Batch 119 practicing theater production. After a year of successfully staging their first two online plays, Ang Red Dress Ni Makisig and Bago Dumilim Sa Labas, Sining LABinsiyam is back to produce their latest hybrid production written by Dr. Layeta Bucoy and directed by Jenny Logico-Cruz, Orgullo Compound.

The play revolves around the story of Teofie Orgullo, a professor who has a lot on his plate. Surrounded by the problems with his apartment compound, tenure, and intimate relationships, there is an inner battle unfolding wherein Teofie’s idealism leads to his self-deterioration, and the implosion of his intimate relationships and environment.

Through this show, Sining LABinsiyam aims to deliver how one’s environment reflects and influences themselves and their life choices. While incorporating Polymer Chemistry with relationships, this show will present how one’s lack of humility spoils relationships and surroundings.

Orgullo Compound” will be showing on July 29 to August 12, 2022 and is open for streaming from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM PST. Tickets are available for 250 PHP at

Join us and witness online theater as we immerse in the story of the residents of Orgullo Compound.
