Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO) will fly in renowned Malaysian photographer and Samsung NX Traveller mentor ,Patrick Low , to share his expertise in the art of photography during the Manila Photo 2014, with a portfolio review and photography workshop on October 3, Friday, and October 4, Saturday, respectively.
At the Manila Photo 2014: Portfolio Review on October 3, Low will give a talk on how to improve photographers’ portfolios based on what critics and master photographers look for. Afterwards, he will be joined by a panel of renowned and experienced photographers, critics and curators to critique works of photography enthusiasts. On October 4, Low will impart his knowledge and expertise on light painting photography – techniques on how to use hand-held light sources to illuminate or ‘color’ parts of a subject. Patrick Low is the founder of Exes Studio in Malaysia, which specializes in artistic wedding photography. Low has won numerous, prestigious awards in photography, including accolades from the Artistic Guild of Wedding Photojournalists Association (AG WPJA, USA) and the Master Photographer Association (MPA, UK).
Samsung, a well-known smart camera brand, is one with the digital photography community in the country to celebrate the art of photography through the first Manila Photo 2014.
