Rina Navarro and Bea Alonzo of I am Hope Organization brings aid to PGH after Midnight Fire

The Philippine General Hospital was hit with an intense fire that lasted for five hours past midnight of May 16, 2021. The fire that reached fire alert level three greatly affected the operation of the hospital especially the pediatric unit where newly born babies are cared for.

Philippine General Hospital posted the pictures of babies that were transferred temporarily to the hospital chapel to keep them safe and away from the fire.

Rina Navarro, founder of I am Hope Organization and Unfiltered skin essentials, saw this and quickly, together with Bea Alonzo, co-founder of I am Hope Organization, and Vina Morales, actress and close friend of Ms. Navarro, donated diapers, milk, snacks, mineral water, fruit juices, and electric fans directly to the PGH Pedia resident Dr. TJ Ablaza.

She also posted call to help on her timeline and friends who wants to be anonymous donors will be giving another batch this coming Wednesday some 20 electric fans, 100 blankets, 50 boxes of diapers, and 50 boxes of mineral water.

Thanks to the kindhearted empowered women who are the first responders of the PGH fire. We hope there will be more courageous men and women who can share and lend a hand to the affected innocent newly born young babies at the PGH Pedia Care.
