Redmi 9T: The entry-level POWERFUL smartphone in 2021

Xiaomi has now yet again released an entry-level phone with a powerful performance and great specifications. With an unexpected competition to Poco M3, the Redmi 9T’s arrival adds an additional option when you think of buying a smartphone. Not to be confused with the flagship phone Mi, Redmi is on the much budget friendly side.

Looking for a new phone is kind of hard because of countless options and choices available in the market. But Xiaomi’s Redmi 9T could be a good choice for the tight budget and tech enthusiast.

Here’s why you should consider Redmi 9T on your list.

A Long-Life Battery Capacity

Boasting a massive 6000 mAh of battery that lasts for 28 days in stand-by and 17 hours of continued use. Weighing less than 200g, it is still lightweight for a phone with a large capacity battery. It also supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C that we all wish for.

Fast and Efficient Core Processor

It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 octa-core processor that delivers high quality performance without overheating the device. Ensuring a low power consumption, even when gaming and heavy usage. The device has 2 version, a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and a 6GB RAM + 128 GB ROM.

Promising Benchmark Scores

As the Redmi 9T has a similar chipset with Poco M3, the performance is smooth and reliable for gaming and everyday use.

Decent Camera Configurations

The device has a 48 MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, 8 MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2 MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the front camera it has 8 MP which is not bad considering its price point. One thing I observed is that even though it has ultrawide camera it does not lag when capturing photos which is good compared to other smart phones.

With all these positive points and features, Redmi 9T is a decent buy for an everyday user, student, and a seldom gamer. It has a little bit of everything, which is not usual for an entry-level phone. Even better with the price of ₱ 6,990.00 for the 4 GB version and ₱ 7,990.00 for the 6 GB version. It is available on all authorized Mi store at the local malls, Lazada, and Shopee.
