Sophos and Halcyon have launched a joint initiative to strengthen ransomware protection through real-time intelligence sharing and mutual anti-tamper defenses.
The collaboration allows Sophos and Halcyon to exchange live threat data, including IOCs and attack behavior patterns. This boosts detection accuracy and speeds up response times across both platforms. More than 300,000 organizations stand to benefit from this integration.
Customers using Sophos Endpoint, Intercept X, Sophos MDR, Sophos XDR, and Halcyon’s Anti-Ransomware Platform will see improved protections. The two platforms will also monitor each other’s agents to prevent tampering during attacks. This added layer ensures both solutions remain operational when targeted by ransomware.
The Sophos X-Ops team will work closely with Halcyon’s research group to apply new insights from the field. Shared threat intelligence will fuel smarter detection models and faster response tools within each ecosystem.
This initiative is part of Sophos’ broader effort to enhance cybersecurity through strategic partnerships. Halcyon, known for its ransomware research, adds deep expertise and field-tested tools to the effort.
