Pinoy boxing champ Manny Pacquiao finally had the chance to meet Floyd Mayweather Jr. not inside a boxing ring but at an NBA game of Heat versus Bucks at the American Airlines Arena.
The halftime of Miami Heat versus Milwaukee Bucks served a way for Pacquiao and Mayweather Jr. to finally meet. The two, who were both in the courtside, were introduced on the arena’s big screen with words “Coming in 2015?”.
Mayweather was said to first approach Pacquiao. The two spoke, shook hands, and even exchanged numbers.
It was only a minute before Pacquiao was informed that Mayweather will be approaching him.
After their accidental meeting in the Heat-Bucks game, Mayweather visited Pacquiao in his hotel room and had a lengthy conversation, which Bernard Cloma, Pacquiao’s friend confirmed.
However, the details of the conversation he did not disclosed. Michael Koncz, Pacquiao’s adviser was also there among the witness.
The Pacquiao-Mayweather is set to be on for May 2. Pacquiao already has agreed to all terms. It is only the contract signing og Mayweather that is to be anticipated for the dream match to actually happen.
