FILA FUSION X TEAM WANG design 2023 crossover collaboration capsule「DONG」was debuted at the immersive concept show in Shanghai C·PARK, formally announcing the launch of this crossover
collaboration between trendy sports brand FILA FUSION and diversified fashion high street brand TEAM WANG design. This is the first time that FILA FUSION has collaborated with Chinese diversified fashion high street brand, and TEAM WANG design’s first partnership with trendy sports brand. The theme concept of this capsule,「DONG」, is directed by creative director Jackson Wang.「DONG」
represents both “East” and “Movement”, aiming to convey the empowering belief behind the collaboration —— Movement from the East.
Inspired by the niche pioneering sport – parkour, the crossover collaboration capsule integrates Jackson Wang’s daily sporting needs into FUSION’s hero piece —— new functional apparel, to create versatile clothing pieces that support multi-scenario wear demands. In terms of craftsmanship, orientally traditional printing and dyeing arts serve as the foundation, with gradient rendering of iconic blue and
black colors from both brands. This capsule continues TEAM WANG design’s signature gender-neutral approach, with delicate silhouette and minimalist color matching style, complementing FILA FUSION’s sporty and trendy style. It fully embodies the minimalist wear trend of current trendy youth who seamlessly transition between sports and life occasions, providing consumers with new premium wear experience.

Regarding the original intention of this collaboration, Kelly Jiang, the president of FILA FUSION, said, “This is one of the major markets moves carried out by FUSION after the release of our new brand strategy, and ‘STAY IN FUSION’ concept earlier this year. In the promotional concept video that directed by creative director Jackson Wang, inspired by pioneering sports – parkour, athletes run and navigate in the multiple future space, through the artistic techniques of doppelganger and mirror reversal, interpreting the concept that it’s all about you and me inside and outside the mirror, and exploring the self-concept in the midst of「DONG」. This is a joint tribute by FILA FUSION and TEAM WANG design to the spirit of niche trendy sports, as well as an inspiration to diversified lifestyle of contemporary youth.
