“Bad Boy” is for the Good Stuffs: Robin Padilla for ASCOF Lagundi

The Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema, Robin Padilla, is pursuing organic goodness and is activating organic revolution as he becomes the newest brand endorser for ASCOF Lagundi for adults.

Being an advocate of organic lifestyle together with his wife Mariel Rodriguez, Padilla, decided to go natural and organic with his intake of medicines.

Thus, Pascual Laboraties and Robin Padilla sealed a partnership for ASCOF Lagundi for adults last March 12, Thursday, at the 55 Events Place, Quezon City.

According to Padilla, there are many over-the-counter drugs that can cure but eventually destroys the kidney and the liver. This is the reason why he said yes to Pascual Lab’s proposal of endorsement.

The launch also introduced the farm where ASCOF Lagundi leaves are planted, nurtured, and harvested. Pascual Lab’s farm, the Leoni Agri Corp (LAC Farms) located at Nueva Ecija, is the the biggest all-organic plantation certified by OCCP (Organic Certification Center of the Philippines), GAP (Good Agricultural Paractices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing practices).

ASCOF is the first licensed herbal medicine from the Philippines approved by the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). ASCOF Lagundi was launched in the market 19 years ago and it is indicated for the relief of cough due to colds and flu, as well as a treatment for bronchospasm, acute bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and other bronchopulmonary disorders.
