Atom Shows Different Make-Shift Flotation Devices For Heavy Floods

Broadcast journalist Atom Araullo prepares viewers this rainy season as he gives tips to help you keep your family safe from heavy floods tomorrow (July 15) on “Red Alert.”

Atom shows how to create make-shift flotation devices to use as he submerges himself in water to simulate the possible scenario of flooding. He also dishes out practical tips to avoid diseases brought about by floods.

Aside from practical tips, Atom also looks backs on the tragedy brought by typhoon Ondoy in 2009 and recounts the experiences of survivor Eric Boquiron. Eric shares how his family used their roof as a make-shift boat to get to safety. However, that did not work out for the Boquirons as Eric was the only one who made it.

“Red Alert” returns on television to once again prepare viewers for worst case scenarios that may confront them anytime, anywhere and equip them with the knowledge they need to save their lives as the lives of others.
