AirAsia Philippines has relaunched its Cebu hub with the return of its famous P1SO Sale, giving travelers access to affordable fares just in time for the Christmas season.

From September 3 to 14, 2025, passengers can book flights via the MOVE app starting at ₱1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges. Travel period covers November 15, 2025, to March 28, 2026, with over 27,000 seats available.

The P1SO Sale includes flights from Cebu to Davao, Caticlan, and Iloilo, as well as international routes to Kuala Lumpur and Macao starting at ₱888 one-way base fare.

AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Capt. Suresh Bangah said the sale allows Filipinos to plan meaningful Christmas reunions without overspending. The reopening of Cebu hub strengthens domestic and international connectivity, with the following flight frequencies beginning November 15:

  • Cebu-Davao-Cebu: 18x weekly
  • Cebu-Caticlan-Cebu: 11x weekly
  • Cebu-Iloilo-Cebu: 4x weekly
  • Cebu-Kuala Lumpur-Cebu: 14x weekly
  • Cebu-Macao-Cebu: 3x weekly

AirAsia Aviation Group Chief Commercial Officer Amanda Woo emphasized Cebu’s role as a key gateway, enabling travelers to connect to more than 136 destinations through Kuala Lumpur.

The airline is also ramping up hiring. A 3-week pilot recruitment drive has drawn hundreds of applicants, while Allstar Wednesday Castings for cabin crew runs until October 29, 2025.
