ABS-CBN News launches Filipino news site PATROL.PH

ABS-CBN News’ launches this week its most technology-driven and public service-focused digital property yet, Patrol.PH, a Filipino language news website designed to serve the needs of an expanding digital audience.

Patrol.PH offers a diverse lineup of news and information that Filipinos need for their daily life decisions, and comes in a familiar language and a visual format that netizens will find relatable and easy to use. It is another pioneering effort to produce content relevant to the Filipino news consumer.

Ging Reyes, head of ABS-CBN News says, “This is the latest in our continuing effort to strengthen our partnership with our growing digital audience. This new site would provide Filipinos stories that they need to know, and valuable information aimed to help them navigate the challenges of everyday life.

This offering from the country’s largest news organization will have a healthy mix of hard news, human interest features, useful tips, and public service offerings.

Patrol.PH will harness the content from ABS-CBN Integrated News’ daily multiplatform coverage, as well as stories of human interest and community concerns from its Radio and Current Affairs groups, for better appreciation of its digital audience.

The news website also adds to the growing list of digital properties of ABS-CBN, the country’s leading media and entertainment organization that is now rapidly transitioning into an agile digital company, with the biggest online presence among all media companies.
