24 Pinoys stopped at Sabah for allegedly illegal entering

Malaysia’s Bernama news agency reported the arrest of 24 Filipinos who was said to enter illegally in the Sabah area.

Sabah Marine Police detained Filipinos were reported to be aging from 15 to 60, said SMP Region 4 commander Mohamad Madun.

The 24 Filipinos, with four women and with one carrying a one-year-old child, were said to be boarding a pump boat when they were stopped by the Marine Police between 10:35am and noon. They were arrested on Sunday in three operations off Pulau Mentabuan and Pulau Bohey Dulang.

The 24 Filipinos were referred to the Immigration Department while waiting for further action.
