I’m sorry to say it, but when I was a kid, money games were my thing. When my friends would talk about dress-up games and cooking games, I would always think to myself— why have they never talked about the Money Games?! Isn’t money and numbers cool for them as well?!
I mean, pretending to be a cashier had always been a dream of mine because of all how cool the clickety-clack sounds on the registry would sound whenever I and my mom would go grocery shopping. Every time the cashier lady would give my parents the correct change amounts, I would be in awe. To be honest, I thought they were geniuses.
But I suppose that being a big fan of money games when you’re young will give you a huge advantage later in life! Calculating change has always been easy and I would have to thank my childhood for that.
This economy of inflation and never-ending money talks had me thinking about these money games that somehow taught me to love and appreciate money.
This is why I am very glad to become bored one day and have that bursting energy to find a money game online! I would like to bring the financially wise and fast-calculating child out of its cage! Thought I was playing one of my favorite cashier games when I saw the supermarket numbers at first, but it turned out to be more tricky! Your mathematical mind will enjoy this game for sure. The goal of this game is to click on as many numbers as possible before the timer expires that will add up to the number given on the left side of the screen. As the difficulty of the games increases, they have -1 options and even /2 options that will cause you to overthink.
In this game, I ultimately experienced the rush of being tested, and I absolutely loved it! To those who struggle with math, I would highly recommend this game because it will help you brush up on your basics!
Grocery Cashier
I continued to scroll the website because I was still thinking about the cashier game and eventually found it. Its name is Grocery Cashier, and it truly has the vibe of a register cashier. You will be taught to enter the item prices, and you will then be expected to provide the change in their cash drawer. Completely enjoyed it, but it will take some getting used to. Even so, I’m still glad I got to play this– got that rush of being the genius Cashier Lady of my childhood for once, haha!
Because of all the other Money Games on this website that I haven’t yet looked into, I think it might be my current favorite pastime to get lost in this stressful world! If I would allow myself to be stressed or challenged, it would rather be by playing Money Games, haha! Not to mention that Mortgage Calculator also have a few games that involves Bitcoin and NFTs like the Lit Ape NFT Generator. Thanks to it, I got a slight gist of what an NFT could be.
