Dogs are said to be man’s best friend. Generally, dogs are the most likely to be pet in any home. Some people even consider them as part of their family. Some treat them as their “babies” even to the point of dressing them up and putting them in diapers. And to hear a case of abandoning such darling pets would be heartbreaking.
Kai, a 2-3 year old Shar-pei cross pitbull was found tied to a railing outside Ayr railway station in Scotland together with his suitcase on Friday evening.
The dog was abandoned in the station and left with him are his belongings stuffed in a suitcase.
Kai was said to be microchipped that is why the Scottish SPCA was able to find out informations about the dog.
They contacted the owner registered to the microchip but could not have the address of the person who bought him, for Kai was sold last 2013 on Gumtree.
Kai’s case raise an issue of animal selling online where some people buy pets they know little about.
These creatures deserve to be treated well also. They are to be taken cared of, a responsibility of anyone who decides to have their own pets regardless of your status in life.
