Paper Soul, a Pampanga based spoken word poetry, music and performance art group is celebrating their sixth anniversary with an arts concert titled: SO, ‘ETO NA NGA… on November 18, 2023, Saturday, 4PM onwards at Casa Tigre Kantina, Angeles City.

Derived from the commencing phrase when people are about to tell a story, gossip, or “pour the tea” as they call it among friends and confidants. SO, ‘ETO NA NGA… is poised to give us a revelation and status check on “truth” and its role in our everyday life; through spoken word poetry and music, Paper Soul will showcase various performances that stitches familiar stories and how we value (or erase) truth in them.

Performing their original piece include Lindsay Abogado, Niño Joseph Aloba, Rhenzell Valdez, Joshua Isais, Jade Harold Delos Santos, Jessa Lacap, Ge Baladhay, Arlin Salonga, Ashley Danan, Miguel Manzano, Gerald Chu, and Dap Francisco, Perdiyo, Luis Gabriel Gomez (LUMI and the Butterflies), Shane Lumanog, and Venz.

They’ll be joined by local Kapampangan artists Calvin Concepcion and the Timáua Experience, Kapampangan rap group Ess-ay Collective, Brian C, Dos Islas as well as artists from LAYA PH: Lance Abellon, Sinaw, and Red Feria.

Guest performers are renowned spoken word artists Maimai Cantillano, Jonel Revistual; award winning poet and author Paolo Tiausas, and RUMAIN band.
