It is a few weeks before the much-awaited fight of the history but the tickets are not yet released. Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be getting it all on the ring on May 2 but tickets to the fight are not yet out.
“Actually wala kaming kontrol sa ticket eh. Even my family wala pang tickets… pero nire-request ko pa sa Top Rank,” Pacquiao said in an interview with ABS-CBN.
Bob Arum, Top Rank CEO, said that there is a disagreement with MGM Grand, the event host. What seems to be the problem is an unsigned deal that covers the tickets and rooms for each fighter’s camp. MGM was said to be asking higher allocations of the ticket fights than the original price they asked.
Despite the issue, Arum assures that the fight will not get affected by such.
