First Impression
Although I haven’t seen a single camera sensor on the back of a smartphone in a while, the phone does seem rather nice. The material is conventional polycarbonate, and the sky-blue surface is topped with a textured stripe pattern. With a weight of only 185g, the phone feels light in my hand, which is advantageous given that the 50i Prime has a sizable 5,000mAh battery. What’s sad though is that it still uses a micro-USB slot for charging.
You will receive a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz for the display. When used inside, the device’s brightness levels reach 400nits, which is comfortable for the eyes. The selfie camera is hidden behind a waterdrop notch, and the display’s bezels are wide on both sides.
The Narzo 50i Prime’s Unisoc T612 chipset, which is uncommon but appears to have excellent performance for an entry-level smartphone chipset, is used. The MediaTek Helio G25, which is typically thought of as a formidable chipset for an entry-level smartphone, isn’t even close to the Unisoc T612’s performance on paper. The Unisoc T612 delivers incredible performance in the real world in addition to having a nice appearance on paper.
A single 8MP camera is included on the back of the Narzo 50i Prime, while a 5MP camera is included on the front. With the majority of other affordable smartphones, you also get that. But when it comes to battery, the Narzo 50i Prime’s 5,000mAh battery enables trouble-free use over the course of the day.
