Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Development League (MDL) Philippines officially announces its first-ever regional qualifier event hosted in the country’s major islands Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Mounted in partnership with Mineski Global, the regional tournament aims to expand its reach further to discover more local talents from different parts of the country to join the upcoming MDL Philippines Season 4.
With the theme, “Ang Unang Hakbang,” the campaign aims to help aspiring MLBB players nationwide take their first steps to become part of the professional scene through competitive amateur tournaments held in major locations outside Metro Manila.
MOONTON Games League Operations Manager Matthew Chan said, “We are excited for this initiative to discover and hone more local talents who dream of becoming professional players, wherever they are in the country. Since the MDL Philippines started, the tournament has served as a platform to unite gamers who share their love and passion for the game, and inspire them to seize opportunities in the esports industry.”
“Returning to onsite events is a perfect opportunity for Mineski to leverage our influence in gaming and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) growth within nationwide communities,” said Ronald Robins, CEO of Mineski Global. “Our commitment to bringing esports to the grassroots level will not only discover new talents but also strengthen the esports ecosystem across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.”
