New EP ‘Cold Rush’ due 23rd August and Announces Australian tour
Filipino-Australian producer Juno Mamba is pleased to announce a brand new track with the arrival of ‘G2G’, lifted from the upcoming EP ‘Cold Rush’ out this August through Soothsayer / Mushroom Group. The exciting news comes with a national EP tour slated for August/September that will see Juno play in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, alongside supporting North East House Party around the country.
The producer’s first body of work in two years builds upon a highly acclaimed career. As well as collecting close to 8 million streams across his catalogue, Juno Mamba has gained fans in genre leaders RÜFÜS DÜ SOL, Tchami, Bob Moses and Lane 8, praised by the likes of Mixmag, Mixmag Asia, Complex UK, The Ransom Note and NME.
His most lively collection to date, Cold Rush promises to be a high-energy homage to Juno Mamba’s hometown of Ballarat, Victoria, where his love for music started and his earliest memories were made. The soundscapes that blanket the seven pulse-pounding electronic journeys were influenced by Ballarat’s icy winter months and offer poignant yet club-ready explorations of his formative experiences and how they shaped the person he became.Like with his entire discography, Juno Mamba’s production and vocal choices on

‘G2G’ is an emotionally charged dance ballad for the ages. The nostalgic track features stirring vocals recorded by Mayari that float above a syncopated synth line that drips with emotive tension,
‘I can’t get my hopes up again’.
“‘G2G’ is all about relationships, young love and navigating my teens. A time when MSN and Limewire ruled our lives, and the most insignificant things meant the world. I wanted to write a song that brought me back to that time and for me, that started with the melodic mood of the lead synth.” –
