Renegade San Diego DJ / producer and Dancing Astronaut’s “Breakout Artist of the Year 2022” ISOxo finally makes his kidsgonemad! album, available this October 20th, up for presale and shares a hot new single “STARsound” as another taste of what’s to come.
ISOxo and his best friend Knock2 have also made history as the artists with the second most sold-out shows at The Shrine LA: four nights at the end of November come in second only to Fred Again’s record.
Of the single, ISOxo shares “‘STARsound’ is a song that’s been with me in some form almost my whole career and been through many different iterations during that time. The final album version mirrors that journey as it starts in a more angsty place and ends up in this more reflective, ethereal outro.”
Since breaking onto the electronic music scene at 19 years old, ISOxo has been re-shaping dance music with a rebellious rockstar energy and paving the way for a new generation of DJs and producers. ISOxo’s 2023 kicked off with a surprise back-to-back set with Skrillex, a friend and close collaborator ever since the 2022 debut EP NIGHTREALM (which also caught the attention of Porter Robinson, DJ Snake, RL Grime, Alison Wonderland, and more + was followed by a sold out headline tour).
ISOxo has also made major festival debuts at Ultra Music Festival, The Do Lab at Coachella, HARD Summer, 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival, and Electric Forest. ISOxo recently released “SHYPOP” co-produced with Ninajirachi, shortly after which he played a rogue show in an alley in Brooklyn, generating a crowd of 1000+ fans who only received the location an hour ahead of the event, which was subsequently shut down by the cops due to the size and energy of the crowd.
kidsgonemad! promises to serve as a benchmark in the revolution of electronic music, breaking into the mainstream in ways very few others have done before. Fans have been begging for this album with each release, and with the lives dates to come, we’re about to witness something we’ve never seen from a DJ/Producer so early on in their career, or even at all.
