Produced by CJ ENM Hong Kong, supported by Macao Government Tourism Office, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province is proud to announce the launch of its exciting new travel program, “Hashtag Travelog”.
“Hashtag Travelog” is a 4-episodic travel program set to take viewers on a captivating journey through the enchanting destinations of Macao, Hong Kong, and Guangdong Province, showcasing the rich cultural heritage, not-to-be-missed gourmets, and vibrant local experiences that these regions have to offer.
Hosted by Korean boy group CIX (BX, Yonghee, Seunghun, and Hyunsuk), Danny Koo, and Jordan Sen from Malaysia, “Hashtag Travelog” brings together a diverse range of perspectives and talents to offer viewers a fresh and engaging travel experience. Follow through their journey of discovering hidden gems to must-visit landmarks with most searched “Hashtags” in that region such as Rua dos Ervanários and Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo in Macao, West Kowloon District in Hong Kong and Gen Z’s shopping paradise, Dongshankou in Guangzhou to uncover the hidden treasures and unique stories that make Macao, Hong Kong and Guangdong Province truly special.
“Hashtag Travelog” is not your usual travel variety program. It is incentivized by the brand-new concept of discovering landmarks with hashtags. What makes it even more fun is that the hosts will have to look for these hashtags on their own, travel to the landmark, take a photo/reel of the place, post and include relevant “hashtags” in captions of the post. At specific landmarks, they will be challenged by producers with games which makes the program even more interesting to watch!
Korean’s MZ generation boy group CIX will be travelling in Hong Kong and Macao. CIX emits high energy and vibrant vibes when they appear together. The production team of this variety program even mentioned that their energy level is top-notch despite long hours of filming and challenging mission like bungee at Macau Tower Malaysian hosts Danny Koo and Jordan Sen will be bringing audiences through the cultural Guangdong province such as Chikan which is officially designated as a National Historic and Cultural Town of China.
The 2 groups of hosts display vibrant personalities through screens in this 4-episodic travel program, which makes it even more fun to watch. If you are travelling to these places in the coming months, you can definitely check out the program’s Instagram account @hashtagtravelog to look for interesting “hashtags” you might want to check out when you are there!
“Hashtag Travelog” premieres 9 December on tvN Asia.
