The latest reality show < GBRB: Reap What You Sow > features four longtime entertainment industry friends, namely Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, Doh Kyung-soo (EXO’s D.O.) and Kim Ji-bang. Four of them will be experiencing rural life and trying on organic harvesting. The variety show is set to premiere on tvN Asia starting 18 October, every Wednesday at 22:30 (GMT+8).
A production by famous producer PD Na Young-seok whose hit programs includes Three Meals A Day, 2 Days & 1 Night and Journey to the West, < GBRB: Reap What You Sow > is an agricultural diary of the struggles faced by the four farmers undertaking the world of farming without even knowing the basics.
The big brother and variety show veteran Lee Kwang-soo plays the role as the leader of the group. As for actor Kim Woo-bin, this is his first time as a permanent variety show member. He is looking forward to show a new side of him. EXO’s D.O. who is the maknae of this group, mostly undertook cooking responsibilities and being in charge of getting things done. Kim Ji-bang is the only member with knowledge of farming. He passionately looked after his teammates and their small field to ensure the crops grow well.
Korean variety show lovers have been looking forward to this new program as one of the viewers shared in an online forum that, “I always love BFF variety show. The chemistry between friends is undeniable, even just small talk and their casual conversation always bring laughter.” D.O. fans are also delighted that their idol’s long-life dream of being a farmer come true in the variety show, moreover he gets to realise his dream with his best “hyungs” making it a memorable experience.
After watching the first episode, a viewer shared that, “I totally did not expect this to be this fun especially since it’s agricultural themed. Regardless of how close the casts are, if the theme is boring it’s not easy to save the show. But viewers get the feeling of hanging out with friends and knowledge on farming as they’re all clueless about the process, just like us, so we end up learning together.”
Do not miss this light-hearted variety show every Wednesday at 22:30 on tvN Asia and join the squad on their farming adventure.
