Reflecting on their success, Ms. Villaruz shares, “Big Bean Cafe started small, as we were testing the waters. Now we are stable, employing twenty-one staff, including me. “Habang tumatagal, nag-b-build kami ng strong foundation with our employees. Praying that mas makilala pa si Big Bean Cafe lalo, dito sa Davao and outside Davao.” A goal that looks attainable as their regular customers—students from nearby colleges—return.
