Swedish DJ and producer Ehrling is setting the tone for summer with his brand new single, ‘Ocean Blue’, a sun-soaked collaboration with Norwegian singer-songwriter Eirik Næss. Blending elements of downtempo, chill, tropical house, and electronic pop, ‘Ocean Blue’ is pure sonic escapism.

Picture a golden afternoon on the coast: waves crashing gently, a warm breeze swaying the palms, and the soft rhythm of saxophone and vocals drifting through the air. That’s ‘Ocean Blue’, a track born from the spontaneous synergy between Ehrling and Eirik after their first meeting at the Amsterdam Dance Event 2024. What started as a casual jam session quickly evolved into a polished piece that captures the spirit of summer.

Ehrling says: “‘Ocean Blue’ came together in late 2024. I was just messing around on the piano one evening and came up with these chords that had this super chill kind of dreamy vibe. I knew right away I wanted to add some saxophone. It just felt like the track needed that warmth. Then we sent it to Eirik and he jumped on the mic and laid down these crazy smooth vocals. He totally got the vibe. Mellow a little nostalgic like you’re floating. It brought the whole thing to life in a way I didn’t expect.”

‘Ocean Blue’ is now available on all major streaming platforms. Let this be the soundtrack to your season—whether you’re beachside or just dreaming of it.

About Ehrling:

Swedish artist and producer Ehrling began his musical journey at the age of eight, learning piano and developing a natural talent for creating catchy melodies. By thirteen, he was producing his own music on a computer. Ehrling built a collection of songs and found his signature sound, the saxophone. He chose the sax because it allowed him to express emotions like a vocal melody would. Ehrling’s music gained traction among travel vloggers on YouTube, whose tropical-themed content aligned perfectly with his style. This exposure helped him become one of the top three most-used artists on the platform.

Since then Ehrling has continued his career by releasing more music and doing shows at some of Swedens biggest festivals like Summerburst and Lollapalooza. Seen as one of the top artists in the world coming from the world of Chill and Tropical House alongside others like Bakermat, Klingande, Lost Frequencies, Kygo and Sam Feldt. To date with over half a billion streams and counting incl the breakthrough songs ”Sthlm Sunset” and ”Ona Ona”. A definite peak in his career was when Madonna turned out to be a huge fan and reposted his music in Instagram where her kids danced in the post to the music.

About Eirik Næss:

Eirik Næss is an artist songwriter and musician based in Oslo Norway. Originally known for his work as a session guitarist Eirik transitioned into a solo artist and topliner in 2020 quickly making a name for himself in both the Norwegian and international music scenes. His song Wave gained nationwide recognition earning a 10-week A-list placement on Norway’s biggest radio station NRK P1. Beyond his own artist project Eirik has collaborated with international names like Alan Walker Blanks MOTi and Da Tweekaz. His songwriting has also expanded into the K-pop and Asian markets with multiple releases as a writer.
