Following the release of her sophomore album Songs for Rainy Days, Asian-American singer-songwriter Cindy Zhang will be releasing a deluxe edition album, featuring 2 bonus tracks! The album explores what it’s like to be in love, to hurt and to grief. As Cindy weaves through romantic interactions with heartfelt arrangements, her honest vulnerability shines through her sincere lyrics. The deluxe album will be available on all digital platforms on 17 February 2023 and will feature a standout collaboration track ‘Far Too Close’ with R&B singer-songwriter Alex Villoria.

The song speaks up about being in a relationship with someone whom you don’t love anymore, but choose to stay because it’s the most convenient and comfortable thing to do. In this type of relationship, one feels close to the person but at the same time, yet so far.
